At SNYP, we offer a variety of youth and community services designed to meet local needs and respond to the challenges young people face.
Junior Youth Work
Engaging, safe, and creative sessions for children aged 7–11. We focus on fun, friendship, and building confidence through games, arts, sports, and more.
Senior Youth Work
Open-access youth sessions for 11–19-year-olds, offering a safe space to socialise, learn new skills, talk to trusted adults, and explore issues that matter to them.
Good Vibes Project
A wellbeing-focused project supporting young people’s mental health through group work, one-to-one support, mindfulness activities, and creative expression.
Detached and Outreach Youth Work
We go where young people are. Our youth workers regularly work on the streets and in parks to build relationships, offer support, and signpost to services.
Play Zone (Southwick)
We manage Southwick’s vibrant Play Zone, an outdoor space designed to encourage physical activity, imaginative play, and community events for children, young people and families. This space is also available for private hire/block bookings too.
Our Youth Careers Worker, Dave, provides personalised advice, CV help, training opportunities, and guidance to support young people into employment or education.
Holiday Provision
We run regular holiday activities, including trips, arts and crafts, sports days, and free food, ensuring that no young person misses out during school breaks.
Community events
SNYP organise and deliver the Southwick Illuminations each year – working together with key local partners to host this fantastic and festive event for our community. If you’d like to get involved or support the event please get in touch!
